Rules and Regs
Eagles' Wings is a cooperative that functions as a committee under Clay-Platte Home Educators (CPHE) and is subject to its By Laws, Policy and Procedures and the CPHE board of directors. As such, Eagles’ Wings is open to homeschool students whose families are CPHE members. Becoming a member is easy. Click here for the forms or email the committee if you have any questions about becoming a member at eagleswings@cphecorp.org.
Eagles' Wings will run on Thursdays from 10:30 am–3:25 pm with a 55 minute lunch break.
Eagles' Wings classes will be canceled when the North Kansas City (NKC) school district closes for inclement weather. The committee reserves the right to cancel co-op for inclement weather even if NKC schools don’t close. In the event that this happens every effort will be made to contact you by email and/or phone.
Eagles' Wings will assume that a parent from each family be the adults from the families participating at Eagles' Wings unless otherwise approved by the EW committee on a case by case basis.
Before enrolling, first time families are required to meet with a committee member. Please email eagleswings@cphecorp.org to arrange this meeting.
Visitor request will be evaluated on a case by case basis, but generally speaking, no minor visitors will be allowed.

Golden Rules for Eagles' Wings
If you open it, close it.
If you turn it on, turn it off.
If you unlock it, lock it up.
If you break it, admit it.
If you can't fix it, call in someone who can.
If you borrow it, return it.
If you value it, take care of it.
If you make a mess clean it up.
If you move it, put it back.
If it belongs to someone else and you want to use, get permission.
If you don't know how to operate it, leave it alone.
If it's none of your business, don't ask questions.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
If it will brighten someone's day, say it.
If it will tarnish someone's reputation, keep it to yourself.
